Sydney with your favourite person? 🌊🥺 (last slide is my favvvv) We did the guided tour at the Sydney Opera House and honestly, it made the experience 10x more special. You can visit without the tour too, but hearing the story behind this iconic place makes you appreciate it so much more. Fun fact: it was originally supposed to take just 4 years to build… but ended up taking 14 years (1959–1973) because of major engineering challenges, design changes, political drama, and budget blowouts. The original architect, Danish designer Jørn Utzon, created the famous “sails” design, but the structure was so complex that engineers had to invent completely new construction methods to make it possible. Another crazy fact? The roof design was inspired by sections of a sphere — reportedly explained using an orange 🍊 What looks effortless today was once considered “impossible” to build… and now it’s one of the most famous buildings in the world.
