If you’re planning to visit Wagah Border, here are 3 ways to commute from the Golden Temple area: 🚕 Sharing auto: Around ₹200 per person from Golden Temple 🚖 Private cab 🚌 Government bus We took a sharing auto from our hostel for ₹300 per person, honestly it was the best experience. The driver explained everything on the way and even stopped at some great spots for photos. 🎟️ Entry to Wagah Border is free — just carry a government ID and make sure you reach on time to get a good seat. Pro tip: Leave about 10 minutes before the ceremony ends to avoid the heavy crowd while exiting.
