At MaaMa’s World Table, art and cuisine become one immersive story @maama_cheese_and_bread in Norwalk, CT Through striking photography, the table transforms into a living canvas, where culture, identity, and human connection are captured in a single frame. Each portrait feels intimate and intentional, highlighting not just who is seated at the table, but what’s being shared. The food becomes part of the narrative: golden Georgian wine glowing in the light, the iconic cheese boat (khachapuri) cracked open and bubbling, delicate khinkali dumplings gathered like edible sculptures, and layers of honey cake stacked with history and sweetness. 🍷🧀🥟🍰 Hosted at MaaMa Georgian Restaurant, the exhibition blurs the line between gallery and gathering. The plates are art. The people are art. The shared table is the masterpiece. We enjoyed the taste of MaaMa’s culinary identity through Chef Andrea’s cuisine: a celebration of tradition elevated with intention. Chef Williams recently captured national attention after winning the televised culinary competition Chef League, filmed in the Chef’s Eastern European homeland of Georgia.
