GAGGING V/S CHOKING It is extremely important for us parents, especially mothers, to know the difference between these two. I always ask my over-protective husband to stay away from my lil' one everytime he gags as I know he can help himself out in most cases. We interfere only when needed. While the most difficult part for us will be to watch and do NOTHING, that is exactly what we should do. Let them handle it themselves as that is an important skill for them to develop through natural consequences. DO NOT FRET..as they soak our emotions and handle it accordingly.
