And if one day you start to miss me, remember, I am only as far as you pushed me. I didn't just vanish into the air. I didn't just give up for no reason. I held on, longer than I should have, with a heart that kept hoping maybe things would change, maybe your eyes would see me again, maybe your heart would feel mine. I stayed, even when it hurt. I stayed, even when I felt invisible. I stayed, even when every part of me wanted to leave. I gave you my best, my love, my care and all of me. Yet, you gave me ignorance, distance and coldness in return. You made me feel small, unwanted and replaceable. So no, I didn't walk away because I wanted to. I only stepped back to the same distance where you left me. And maybe one day, when your heart feels empty, when you look around and see no one there, maybe then you will realize, I was never too far. I was always close, always reaching, always waiting. Until the day you pushed me so far away that I couldn't return!✨
