5 things you MUST know before planning a Winter Spiti trip! ❄️🚴‍♂️ Save this reel before you go. 1️⃣ Roads Can Close Anytime due to heavy snowfall without warning and You must be prepared for delays of 1–3 days, or even longer. 2️⃣ Extreme Cold Weather from -20°C to –30°C your Bikes may not start in the morning and Water freezes instantly. You must need proper winter gear, not casual cold-weather clothes. 3️⃣ Limited Facilities in Winter because Most of the hotels, homestays, and restaurants may be closed. ATMs, petrol pumps, mechanics may not work due to freezing. 4️⃣ No Network in Many Areas So expect long stretches with zero mobile network. Only BSNL works in some places, and even that is unstable. Download offline maps and keep emergency contacts. 5️⃣ Ride Conditions Are Extremely Risky. Black ice on roads is almost invisible and extremely slippery. Riding after sunset is dangerous — even locals avoid it.
