Skincare is a journey, and trust me, I’ve made my share of mistakes 😩👇 1️⃣ Not using toner after cleansing: I hate to break it to you but a cleanser does not cleanse your face properly. Ensure that you use a good quality toner for proper cleansing & better product absorption. 2️⃣ Using sunscreen only during the day: I didn’t realize that sunscreen was more than just to protect my skin from the sun. It helps with pigmentation & support even skin tone. 3️⃣ Believing expensive product = better results: I spent so much on pricey products thinking that it has “high quality” ingredients. Affordable products work really well too! 4️⃣ Over-exfoliating: I assumed that a lot of exfoliation helped with better skin or removal of blackheads/ whiteheads. Infact the result was quite the opposite. It damaged my skin barrier and led to irritation & sensitivity. 5️⃣ Buying too many products at once: Less is more. A simple and consistent routine works best.
