The stage and the spotlight were never new… but every moment on it still feels like the first time. As a boy from a small town in the South, I once dreamed of being on stage, maybe as an event coordinator or an office bearer. But the universe had a different script, “Why stop there? Be the Chief Guest.” From that side of the mic to this side, the journey, lessons, and people I met along the way made all the difference. Grateful to be the Chief Guest for the IEEE TEMS Asecndra 4th Anniversary, to launch their journal, and to present badges to the newly inducted office bearers.
