Perfect Khichdi Recipe 🍛 Comfort food never goes out of style ❤️ Made this simple one-pot Mix Veg Dal Khichdi in the Philips OneChef with minimal effort and maximum comfort. ✨ Just add all the ingredients, select the preset, and let OneChef do the rest. 🙌 Ingredients * ½ cup Rice (washed) * ½ cup Yellow Moong Dal (washed) * 1 tbsp Ghee * 1 small Onion (chopped) * 1 small Tomato (chopped) * ¼ cup Carrot (chopped) * ¼ cup French Beans (chopped) * ¼ cup Green Peas * 1 Green Chilli (optional) * ½ tsp Turmeric Powder * ½ tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera) * Salt to taste * 3½ – 4 cups Water * Fresh Coriander for garnish Method 1️⃣ Add ghee to the Philips OneChef and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter. 2️⃣ Add onions and green chilli. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until slightly soft. 3️⃣ Add tomatoes, carrots, beans, and green peas. Mix well. 4️⃣ Add turmeric powder and salt. Stir everything together. 5️⃣ Add washed rice and moong dal. Mix gently so the grains are coated with the spices. 6️⃣ Pour in 3½–4 cups water and give it a final stir. 7️⃣ Select Curry Mode → Veg Preset on the Philips OneChef and let it cook. 8️⃣ Once done, open the lid and mix gently. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a little hot water and stir. 9️⃣ Garnish with fresh coriander and a spoon of ghee. ✨ Serve hot with papad, pickle, curd, or a drizzle of ghee for the ultimate comfort meal.
