Unpopular opinion (but true) 👇 • Pinterest homes fail in Indian • White sofas don’t survive Indian families Kids, guests, chai, haldi, festivals — stop pretending. • Open kitchens are a Western fantasy Indian cooking needs doors, chimneys & sanity. • Minimal ≠ empty If your home looks “clean” but feels cold, it’s not luxury — it’s discomfort. • Beige isn’t classy. It’s just safe. Indian homes are colourful — learn balance instead of erasing culture. • Low seating isn’t outdated It’s functional, inclusive & actually more social. • Trends don’t understand Indian climate Heavy rugs, dark walls & bulky furniture make homes feel smaller and hotter. • If your home looks good but doesn’t function — it’s bad design!!!
