ICELAND – Bucket list officially checked. 🇮🇸 But here’s the thing… the photos you see online still don’t prepare you for how unreal it feels in person. Standing in front of those massive waterfalls, feeling the mist, driving through black sand beaches, glaciers and landscapes that literally look like another planet… it’s one of those places that makes you stop and just take it all in. If Iceland is on your bucket list, here are a few things I wish someone told me before going (saving this might help when you plan your trip): 1️⃣ Rent a car – Iceland is made for road trips. Some of the best places appear randomly while driving. 2️⃣ Pack waterproof everything – near waterfalls you will get soaked within seconds. 3️⃣ Weather changes every 10 minutes – sunshine, rain, wind… sometimes all together. Layers are essential. 4️⃣ Start early – the same place feels completely different before the crowds arrive. 5️⃣ Don’t rush the journey – the most beautiful views aren’t always the famous ones. This trip reminded me why travelling is so special — some places don’t just look beautiful, they make you feel something.
