Here’s a simple, accurate way to check whether your skin is dry, oily, combination, or normal, right at home 👇 🧪 STEP 1: Wash Your Face • Use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. • Pat your skin dry with a clean towel — don’t apply any products afterward. • Wait 30–45 minutes. 👉 This allows your skin to return to its natural state, without the temporary effects of cleansing or moisturizing. ⸻ 🪞 STEP 2: The Bare-Face Observation Method Stand in front of a mirror and notice: • Does your skin look shiny, tight, flaky, or balanced? • How does it feel — tight, greasy, smooth? ⸻ 📄 STEP 3: The Blotting Sheet / Tissue Test Take thin tissue paper or blotting sheets and gently press on these areas: • Forehead • Nose • Cheeks • Chin 📝 Extra Clues: • Dry Skin: Often feels tight after washing, may flake, can appear dull, especially around nose and mouth. • Oily Skin: Makeup slips off easily, pores look larger, skin gets shiny quickly (esp. T-zone). • Combination Skin: Oily forehead/nose/chin but dry or normal cheeks. This is very common. • Normal Skin: Rare!
