भारत में पत्नी को मेंटेनेंस दो अलग कानूनों से मिल सकता है। पहला – धारा 125 दंड प्रक्रिया संहिता (अब बीएनएसएस में समाहित) जिसका उद्देश्य है कि महिला सड़क पर न आ जाए। यह एक समरी और सेक्युलर प्रावधान है। दूसरा – हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम की धारा 24 और 25 जहाँ अदालत पति की आय, स्टेटस और शादी के दौरान की लाइफस्टाइल देखकर राशि तय करती है। मतलब यह नहीं कि एक में सिर्फ रोटी और दूसरे में लक्ज़री। दोनों में “सम्मानजनक जीवन” का सिद्धांत लागू होता है। लेकिन हाँ, गहराई और जांच का स्तर अलग होता है। डबल मेंटेनेंस नहीं मिलता। एक जगह मिला पैसा दूसरी जगह एडजस्ट होता है। कानून भावनाओं से नहीं, सिद्धांतों से चलता है। #maintenance #familylove #wifey❤️ #explainedinhindi
