28 days, 672 hours, and 40,320 minutes without you. ❤️‍🩹 09th February 2026. Our world has stopped, yet it keeps moving. How ironic na, papa? Our world has just crashed. Every day I open my eyes hoping it was all just a bad dream — a dream where you were not really gone. I cannot fathom living in a world where you don’t exist. I still close my eyes and see the monitor flatline. You lying there, lifeless. Mom breaking down. Me panicking, shouting at the doctors. CPR. Everything happening at once. And then my eyes wander straight to the cremation ground. Me breaking down, helplessly looking for a miracle, still & hopeful that you’ll wake up and say that you were testing my love for you. But none of that happened. You were gone that day. Really gone. We try to keep ourselves busy, but not a single day passes, papa, when we don’t think about you. We wake up with your thoughts and go to bed with them. And whatever happens in between… that’s also just you. We have somehow lived a whole month without you. And yet, there is a lifetime still to go. As soon as I am brought up there, I will run into your arms once more. Your little girl will always remain that little girl, still afraid of living in this world without you. ❤️‍🩹 You didn’t deserve this, and neither did we. You know how we say- “till death do us apart” ? I guess- it’s something else after all. It is all the “maybes” “more” “after death” experiences. I hope wherever you are, you know how deeply you are loved and how terribly you are missed.😖 Until we meet again, papa. 09.02.2026 ~ ♾️
