
At the recently concluded aceTECH Mumbai 2025 exhibition, I stopped by the Italia Group booth at the Grand Passage in Hall 1. Italia Group, a house of brands for over 30 years, one of the leading manufacturers & marketers of mosaic and tile products, showcased three of their brands, but what truly awestruck me was their display of Palladio Glass Mosaics. One glance at the glass mosaic murals, and it no longer felt like a booth. It felt like stepping into a gallery of curated luxury. As a designer, I see countless materials… but very rarely do I feel an instant connection. Palladio did that. The artistry, the colours, the finishes, the applications, the textures, everything carried a quiet confidence that only true luxury brands possess. What truly stayed with me: 1. Their newly launched Sintered Collection in four different mosaic sizes: 1.5 cm Penny Round, 3 cm Penny Round, 2.5 cm Hexa, 3 cm Clove 2. The 3.5 cm Triangle Mosaic in their Hotmelt Collection, small in scale, yet a statement in itself 3. The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Jaquar mural and the Pop Art pieces, premium meticulously detailed art surfaces I couldn’t take my eyes off. Each one felt truly artisanal. 4. The overall Palladio experience, a beautiful blend of luxury, imagination, and emotion. Palladio isn’t just mosaic; it’s the kind of luxury that stays with you long after you’ve left.
