Reels coming soon, so stay tuned! ❤️ Story BTS:- This was my first trek of 2026, and honestly, I’ve been planning this trek for the last 2–3 years. Every single time, something came up and the plan got cancelled. I don’t know how, but it just never happened. This time, I promised myself that no matter what, I’d complete this trek. I recently joined the Devkund Trek with @wakeup_aavi , expecting it to become one of my craziest memories. Everything looked perfect when we planned it there was no forecast of heavy rain. But on the day of the trek, nature had other plans. It rained continuously and didn’t stop even for a minute. That’s when we realized how unpredictable and powerful nature can be. Huge respect to @wakeup_aavi and the entire team for making the tough decision to prioritize everyone’s safety and bringing us all back home safely. Yes, the trek was probably doable, but managing such a large group in extreme weather is never easy. Safety always comes first. While a few people were unhappy with the decision, they probably didn’t realize that if even one mishap had occurred, the consequences could have been far worse and this trek would’ve become a nightmare for everyone. At the end of the day, we’re all back home safely, spending time with our families and that’s what truly matters. One thing this experience taught me is that your life is worth far more than any reel, memory, or money. If you’re heading out on a trek this monsoon, respect nature, trust your trek leader, and follow their instructions. No adventure is worth risking your life. Stay safe.
