Season 3 is almost here and I genuinely can't wait to see where Rhaena Targaryen's story goes next. 🐉 With the Dance of the Dragons only growing more brutal, it feels like the perfect time for some of the younger Targaryens to step further into the spotlight. Rhaena has always been one of the most interesting characters to me—not because she's constantly at the center of the war, but because it feels like her journey is still building toward something much bigger. Played by Phoebe Campbell, Rhaena is the daughter of Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) and Laena Velaryon, carrying the legacy of both House Targaryen and House Velaryon. As Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy), Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke), Prince Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell), King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney), and the rest of Westeros continue their fight for power, I'm really looking forward to seeing how Rhaena's role develops in the chapters ahead. One of the things House of the Dragon does best is making every member of House Targaryen feel important to the larger story, and Rhaena feels like a character whose biggest moments may still be ahead of her.
