This artwork tells a story many people don’t know… Sudama was a poor man. He had nothing at home. One day, his wife asked him to go meet his childhood friend Krishna… hoping for help. But Krishna was not just a friend anymore. He had become a king. Still, Sudama went… with hesitation and a small bundle of rice — the only thing he could offer. When Krishna saw him after years… he didn’t see a poor man. He ran to him, hugged him, gave him respect… and sat on the ground to wash his feet with his own hands. A king… washing his friend’s feet. This is what true love and friendship looks like. ✨ This story is remembered on Akshaya Tritiya — a day that teaches us that anything given with love never goes to waste. That’s why I made this artwork. I used lemon juice… so at first, nothing was visible. But with heat, everything slowly appeared. Just like this story… and just like blessings… they may not be seen instantly, but they stay forever. 🤍 This artwork is in collaboration with Amar Chitra Katha. @amarchitrakatha 🙏 #akshaytritiya #krishnasudama #indianart #emotionalart #storytelling
