जयपुर में development की रफ्तार वाकई काबिले-तारीफ है लेकिन… Jagatpura–Mahal Road को signal-free बनाने के लिए नए projects पर काम भी चल रहा है। लेकिन इसी route पर कुछ किलोमीटर आगे एक ऐसी road है जो सालों से अपने expansion का इंतजार कर रही है। RIICO Prahladpura Industrial Area को Tonk Road और Mahal Road से connect करने वाली यह महत्वपूर्ण connectivity आज भी एक बड़े traffic bottleneck में बदल चुकी है। जहां एक तरफ 160 feet wide road है, वहीं एक जगह आकर यह लगभग 18 feet तक narrow हो जाती है। नतीजा— रोज लगने वाले traffic jams, heavy vehicles की लंबी कतारें और commuters के लिए लगातार परेशानी। सवाल यह है कि इतनी महत्वपूर्ण industrial और city connectivity वाली road का expansion अब तक क्यों नहीं हो पाया? क्या इस road को भी Jaipur के development roadmap में priority मिलनी चाहिए?
