Hahaha, that’s a girl thing” or “What are you wearing haha” tbh I never feel ashamed. I always responded by saying, Have you seen our Zubeen da? Look how unique he is. I always got inspiration from Zubeen da to stand out and be different in a crowd. He was my style icon and I always had a dream of making a dope customised jeans with my own hands and gifting it to him on his birthday but look I am so unlucky that my dream will never come true. Zubeen da was not only a singer, actor, artist, or a musician for me yk he was a great human being and a teacher for me in every aspect. Born in Assam he left behind a legacy that will forever bless our Axomi Aai. I feel so honored that I was born in an era where I got the lucky chance to witness my God in human form. For me following his path is not just about fashion or style it’s about carrying forward the respect, courage and soul he gifted us through his art and life. It is an honour for the land of our beloved Assam that a great man like Zubeen Garg was born here and left his mark on its soil and I will always be proud to walk behind them.
