Oh, I’m not even sure where to begin. From being the timid, scared kid who would call her sister staying miles away to book her an Uber to now travelling places and now look at you, ready to embark on a journey on becoming a surgeon in a new city (the city of dreams, where I also began my professional career). I am so very proud of you, my doll. Your hard work paid off. The road from here is more difficult, the world outside is harsh (survival of the fittest). There may be days when you feel like the ground beneath the crust is crashing down, but you don’t have to. There will be difficult and gloomy days, but there will also be bright days when hope buds will open. If you feel like giving up in the winter, just wait till summer.
