This settings disable the (HPET - High Precision Event Timer) from the Windows Boot Configuration Data (BCD) reverting the system to the default timer. This is typically used to reduce system latency and improve FPS in games. The same Windows command can be used in Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11 based Operating Systems.
