Sometimes being just fine is also a high benchmark. Once you realise, you’re not gonna be the same person emotionally or physically it takes time to adjust to the new version of you. I don’t feel the best about how I look at times, I don’t feel the best when I don’t have enough energy to play sports or stay at events for long, I don’t feel the best in social spaces because it’s anxiety inducing sometimes which is totally opposite to the person I was before. I prefer home,people who feel like home, I may not be my best self now but I CAN be ! My surviving strategies might be different than the ones for Tanisha at 19, I mean whine and wine was great but not possible anymore.
