Valentino Rossi has reportedly decided that Franco Morbidelli will not get a factory Ducati bike for the upcoming season, pointing to the rider’s inconsistent results as the main reason. Morbidelli, riding for the VR46 Ducati team, struggled to impress enough this year to earn the coveted works-spec Ducati GP26. As a result, Ducati chose not to upgrade him and instead allocate the latest machine to other riders. Despite Morbidelli’s talent and experience in MotoGP, the lack of steady top-level performance ultimately cost him the opportunity for factory equipment next year. @motogp @vr46racingteam #MotoGP #officialmediapartner #asifzubairiphotography📸
