PART 3 - In 1999, during the Kargil War, India was fighting a tough battle at impossible heights. To locate enemy positions, we needed satellite data — but back then, we depended on America’s GPS system. And what did the US do? They said — ❝No access❞ ❌ In the middle of war, when Indian soldiers were laying down their lives, global powers turned their backs. But India didn’t break. We built. 💥 Our scientists at ISRO, military strategists, and real heroes like Dr. A.S. Pillai, Dr. K. Kasturirangan, and General V.P. Malik found their own way — using aerial mapping, reconnaissance images, and intelligence coordination. We turned denial into determination. That day, India learned one powerful truth — 👉 “If your data isn’t yours, your safety isn’t yours either.” From that moment began India’s mission for self-reliance in technology — and the result was IRNSS, our own navigation system, proudly known today as NavIC 🛰️ — India’s very own GPS. When others denied us technology, we didn’t complain.
