New Year’s felt extra special this time, not because of fireworks or grand plans, but because of who I spent it with. Sitting together with my parents, my siblings , and our little ones made me realise how rare and precious these moments truly are. In a world where everyone is always rushing, this day felt like a gentle pause , a reminder of what really matters. Watching our babies laugh, play, and grow up surrounded by love made my heart feel so full. Seeing my parents happy, healthy, and smiling while all of us were together under one roof felt like a blessing I never want to take for granted. These are the memories that quietly become lifelong treasures. The dinner we shared wasn’t just about food - it was about stories, laughter, old memories, inside jokes, and that comforting feeling of home. And ending the day with church mass completed everything so beautifully. Sitting there in silence, filled with gratitude, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and thankfulness for the year gone by and hope for the year ahead. This New Year reminded me that happiness doesn’t need to be loud or fancy. Sometimes, it’s simply being together, holding onto faith, and creating memories with the people who mean the world to you.
