📖Review: Maya- Let Life Unfold by @rulerofmind It is a fast-paced romance-thriller that follows Maya Johnson, a preacher’s daughter who leaves her small hometown for the freedom of Los Angeles. Excited to begin her new life, she quickly finds herself entangled in a chain of tragedies. Her boyfriends keep dying under mysterious circumstances, first Paul, who becomes a victim of a drug gang, and then Marco. With each loss, Maya not only faces heartbreak but also becomes the prime suspect in the eyes of others. What was supposed to be a fresh start soon turns into a cycle of grief, suspicion, and shocking revelations. As she digs deeper, she uncovered disturbing truths about her past, the dark world of gangs and drug deals, and the fine line between love and survival. Along the way, characters like Marco and Chris add depth to her journey. The writing is crisp, direct, and very fast-paced and i finished it in one sitting. It never lingers too long on any moment, keeping the suspense alive. It's just 100 pages long so although it was fast paced and things escalated real quick, i found myself craving for more depth in some parts. Still, it’s fascinating and thrilling, if you enjoy quick reads with mystery, and dark twists, this book is a solid pick. Thank you so much @rulerofmind for the book!
