Somewhere along the way, travel became another thing we started consuming too fast. Too many places. Too many plans. Too many “must do” lists. And I honestly don’t think we’re meant to experience the world like that. 🌏 The older I get, the more I want travel to feel slower, softer and more connected. I want my children to remember conversations with people, not just hotel pools. I want them to learn that culture isn’t something you photograph quickly and leave behind. I want them to understand where food comes from, how people live, why local businesses matter and why respecting a place is more important than “seeing” everything. Because slow travel changes you quietly…. You waste less. You notice more. You support smaller communities. You stop treating places like content. And somehow you come home feeling fuller instead of burnt out. I really think slowing down while travelling has made me slower in life too. More present. More grateful. Less constantly chasing. Maybe the goal isn’t to travel more. Maybe it’s to travel better 🤍 If this is the kind of world and travel you want too, save this post and send it to someone who needs a reminder to slow down a little.
