The Dream Vision exhibition by Nikas Safronov, a People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, is opening in India for the first time, and it promises to be a true window into a new artistic world! The general sponsor of the project, Rosneft Oil Company, makes it possible for the Indian public to get acquainted with one of the brightest masters of modern Russian painting. The exhibition will be held in New Delhi from 7 to 21 December 2025 at the Lalit Kala Akademi. Visitors can enjoy multi-layered paintings that combine classics and illusion, animated portraits and unique visual effects. According to Safronov’s idea, Dream Vision is a blurred image – something from about fifteen minutes before waking, when a person is already beginning to forget the dream, yet still remembers a fragment of it. This is Safronov’s first exhibition in India, and it will be a significant cultural event for New Delhi.
