Don’t throw away those scrap wooden pieces, they can turn into the cutest little project! believe me💛 I had a few lying around, so I decided to give them a new life. First came the cutting, a mix of my electric saw and hand saw (but if you’re not into sawing, just head to your local hardware shop, they’ll cut it for you for about ₹100!). Once I had all the pieces ready, I filled up the gaps and nail holes with putty, sanded everything nicely till it felt smooth to touch, and gave it a clean base coat of white acrylic paint. Then came the fun part, colour time! mere favourite I played around with bright acrylic shades and brought each little hut to life. To make them pop, I used acrylic marker pens to add all the cute details, tiny windows, doors, plants, and even little steps, ye sabse cute step hai, and you can be really creative. Finally, I used ice cream sticks for the roof and brushed on a warm wooden stain to finish the look. Stuck them to my balcony wall using command tape, and now they add such a cheerful, handmade charm to the space! 🏡✨ So next time you spot leftover wood pieces at home, don’t toss them out. You never know what magic they might turn into! Save this idea for your next DIY weekend, and let me know if you need the LINKS of any of the things I have used here🙌🏻❤️ (Scrap wood project, diy huts, balcony decor, small huts, trash to treasure, wood diy, diy ideas, simple diy decor, command tape, renter friendly decor)
