Storytime! Yes it’s true, I had given up on the thought of getting married, before Mihir walked into my life. Why? I come from a very traditional society, where females yet do not get the kind of respect, footing and independence they deserve. I don’t have anything against that, but when I studied & worked as a CA, I had already opened my wings, tasted freedom, confidence, self worth and passion to be an independent individual. All credit goes to my parents, for giving me these wings. And I was not ready to give another family the right to cut off these wings that I was so proud about. But then one day, I met Mihir. He understood my passion, respected it and uplifted me. But above that, his family respected that too. They were proud of who I was, as an individual and never bargained to change any of that. And that when I knew, where I belong. I never questioned marriage again, or the thought of being with him for life, because I didn’t want life any way else then. 🧿 I know I am picturing a perfect happily ever after here 😂 but life has its own ups and downs and struggles challenges. But trust me, when you have that 1 person by your side, every fight is worth it. 🥰❤️ What’s your story?
