It was an absolute privilege to meet the visionary behind the lens, a two-time National Award-winning filmmaker, @kamakhayanrsingh sir. Sir, the way you bridged parallel narratives in “The Kerala Story 2” into a singular emotion of shared pain was masterfully done. Using the song 🔱 ‘Shiv Shambhu’ in the climax as a metaphor for the destroyer of evil was genius!! Like the way it created a spiritual sense of unity and the firm resolve, ‘Ab aur nahi sahenge’…… A powerful vision indeed! 🫡🇮🇳 Your film makes us look within and ask whether we have forgotten the very foundation of our identity?! Through the character arc of Surekha, which I really liked and which was played brilliantly by @ulkagupta was truly soul-stirring 🤌Seeing a secular, liberal woman rediscover the strength of her roots and express her resistance by balding herself was a moment that felt unforgettable!!!!! The film delivers a powerful message that being a progressive society should never mean distancing ourselves from our traditions and religion 🕉️🙏 It was a truly inspiring meeting with a creator who cares about the message as much as the craft. Thank you for being so gracious, Sir!!!🙏 Looking forward to learning more from you in the future. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
