
This homemade Thandai Premix is perfect for making instant thandai anytime! Just mix it with milk, and you're ready to enjoy this flavorful, refreshing drink. Ingredients: ½ cup almonds ¼ cup cashews ¼ cup pistachios 2 tbsp poppy seeds (khus khus) 2 tbsp melon seeds (magaz) 2 tbsp fennel seeds (saunf) 2 tbsp dried rose petals 1 tbsp black peppercorns 1 tbsp cardamom pods ½ tsp saffron strands (optional) ½ cup sugar (adjust as per taste) Instructions: Roast the seeds & spices: Lightly dry roast fennel seeds, poppy seeds, black peppercorns, and cardamom pods for a minute until aromatic. Let them cool. Grind the ingredients: In a blender, add almonds, cashews, pistachios, melon seeds, roasted spices, dried rose petals, and saffron. Grind into a fine or coarse powder as per preference. Mix with sugar: Blend in the sugar to get a uniform mix. Store in an airtight container.
