Walkaround Series: Part 5 | The Right Side We’re moving around the bend! Welcome to Part 5 of our A320 walkaround series. Today, we’re shifting our focus to the Right Main Gear and the underside of the Right Wing. If you missed the nose gear or the engines, make sure to check out Parts 1–4 on my profile! 🔍 The Checklist: • Right Main Landing Gear: We’re inspecting the hydraulic actuators and shock absorbers , checking the brake wear indicator pins (making sure they aren’t flush!), and ensuring the tires are cleared for another rotation. • Wing Surface , slats and Flaps: Looking for any fluid leaks or “weeping” rivets, and checking the trailing edge for any damage. • Fuel Sump Drains: A quick look to ensure everything is sealed tight and there’s no unexpected drainage.
