At Sofitel Mauritius L'Impérial Resort & Spa in Mauritius, I experienced French luxury with Mauritian hospitality.   My luxury room opened to the Indian Ocean and sitting on a beach bed surrounded by palm trees, I experienced the most magical sunset. When not sampling sumptuous cuisine from around the world while listening to live performances, I was found in the idyllic pool which is one of the largest in Mauritius.  What I particularly loved about the resort is their initiative to sustainability.
