Sold 2 Stocks I 27Jan | #sharemarketeducation . . . . Considering the ongoing war like tension, shall we sell everything and build cash positions? No — It is usually a bad move. Markets fall on headlines, but recover faster than emotions. Historical wars have: * Caused sharp short-term volatility * None permanently destroyed long-term wealth Our Strategy: If we are a long-term investor (3–5+ years), we need not sell everything Instead: ✅ Hold quality large caps ✅ Remove Poor Quality/Poor Growth companies ✅ Add More of Highest Quality companies ✅ Raise 10% to 30% cash I shortlisted 11 stocks from my portfolio as weakest growth companies. Out of those 11, I have sold: ACC Ltd • Underperforming share price with weak technicals • Competitive pricing pressure • Have positions in Ambuja Cement (same sector, same Adani Group) Indigo Paints • Decelerating revenue growth • Competitive disadvantage vs larger peers – Asian Paints and Berger • Profitability & capital efficiency trending lower • Crude oil volatility has been adding to pain, as it’s key raw material This shall pass too...Stay Strong 🫂 All the best everyone !!
