Swati's Post:

Aidu which is the word for five in Telugu, does ample justice to its concept of bringing five South Indian cuisines under one roof. Foodpreneur Aman Chainani and his better half Shreya Anand, along with their brand curator Sateesh Polkam, have brought forth their labour of love and the effort shows, be it in the contemporary ethnic interiors, the wonderful beverages menu (I tried mustard for the first time in a gin cocktail called Mustard Mystery and it was mind blowing!) .. Starters and mains menu options are varied and plenty. My favourites were Keema Undai, Paniyaram ;with a twist), Meen Pollichattu (good-sized pomfret steam-wrapped in banana leaf, the classic Malabar way), Ulavacharu Lollipop, Kaaju Royyala Vepudu (aah my all time favourite, Andhra style) Puttu with Kodi Gassi. Desserts will be the asli surprise .. while Elaneer Payasam is divine in its classic form, it is the Aidu Mysore Paak which will keep you guessing. The Double Ka Meetha also has a very snazzy plating like cigar rolls. We love! ❤️ A word about the service, which is attentive and prompt. Ganesh will have you mesmerised at the bar with his mixology magic, the Mogratini is a case in point. Pricing is pretty competitive considering it is in Jubilee Hills, on Road no 45 a little beyond the Durham Cheruvu bridge from under the bridge , obviously! So, ladies & gents, try out Aidu is my definite recco!
