#longpostalert #excitedaf ✨ Lokah - Chapter 1 - Chandra 🥷🏼✨ Watched the much-awaited #lokah last night… I thought I was the last one to watch this super-duper blockbuster, but No…while booking tickets I realised there were so many souls like me 💁🏻‍♀️ Nearby shows were all overbooked, so I had to travel a bit, wondering if it would be worth the effort since I already knew the mythological story I grew up listening to. The answer is a Bigggg YES 😍👌🏻 Thank you @santhybee & @dominic_arun for this brilliant script that makes Malayalam cinema shine so proudly infront of global audience 👏🏻 Goosebumps moment: Kalyani Priyadarshan as Kalliyankattu Neeli (Kerala’s most popular vampire) with Sayanora’s voice, Tovino as Chathan (Goblin), and DQ as Odiyan (Nemesis) — all on the same screen, with Naslen’s innocence adding so much charm. Young Neeli’s martial arts scenes left the audience wide-eyed, while the action sequences truly felt like a Hollywood experience 🩵😍 Nachiyappa’s negative role was irritatingly good, and Chandu Salim Kumar–Naslen–Arun Kurian trio brought in perfect engaging moments. The little details (like the Paala poovu reference) were so thoughtfully done. Growing up we always heard that a Paala tree meant Yakshi in it. I loved how Lokah broke the stereotypical image of a Yakshi in a white saree. Here, she could be the girl next door… until you see her real form 😸 Being from Bangalore, it was a thrill to spot familiar locations and Jakes Bejoy’s kickass music made it even more special. Once again, Mollywood and its brilliant technicians prove we don’t need fancy numbers to create world-class cinema — Lokah is proof of that. This is a must-watch theatrical experience 👌🏻And don’t miss the end-credits scene — it gives vere level excitement for the upcoming chapters (especially to see the boss- Moothon).
