In a recent audit of a company, I found that the SEO team had been working for two years on the website and was unable to rank for local keywords, forget about main keywords and all. The team was unable to find the profitable keywords and have not mapped properly on web pages. If I talk about Jaipur or any city, very few individual websites are coming up in top search results, and on those places, web portals are there in ranking. Although most website owners have an SEO team or person, but, they failed badly in ranking, the reason is, that their team lacks sound knowledge in SEO or digital marketing.
