Everyone has their own flops vs hidden gems, what works for you might not work for me. Here’s what didn’t work for me (and what did). Read for details: ❌ Flop: Recode Ace of Base Primer – Claimed to blur pores, but didn’t really mattify my oily skin; plus, it’s on the pricier side. ✅ Gem: Swiss Beauty Mattifying Primer – Lightweight, pore-blurring, matte finish, smooths texture, and holds foundation beautifully—plus it’s budget-friendly. ❌ Flop: Benefit Bounce Mascara – Went viral, but on me, it made lashes go clumpy, sticky, and stuck together—not worth the splurge. ✅ Gem: Character Cosmetics Booster Mascara – Affordable and gives real volume—my lashes look boosted, better than high-end ones. ❌ Flop: Sugar Pop Powder Blush – Too chalky, just a little makes your face look harsh and patchy. ✅ Gem: Character Cosmetics Powder Blush – Buildable, perfectly pigmented, and smooth—no patchy mess. ❌ Flop: Mars Liquid Lipstick – I’m a Mars fan, but this cracked and felt heavy—just not comfy. ✅ Gem: Essence Liquid Lipstick – Feels lightweight, super comfy, doesn’t crack—my personal go-to. ❌ Flop: Lakmé Eyebrow Palette – Overpriced and barely pigmented; needed multiple passes to show up. ✅ Gem: Wet n Wild Eyebrow Palette – Two shades for natural brows, affordable, and my forever fave. Tell me your viral flop products in the comments🙂↔️
