You know, for the longest time, I used to watch the news on TV and get so scared seeing all the horrible things happening around India. I would feel safe and secure with my family at home, never daring to step out alone. But let me tell you, I couldn't be prouder of myself for making the decision to travel solo and complete my Bakaiti List. It's been eye-opening because this experience has shown me a whole new side of the world. Turns out, it's not all bad out there. The people I've met are just like us, full of warmth and compassion.
