Feels ethereal to have received 1st prize in Dance competition after 10 years. Performances are one thing but when it's a competition, I give my everything! I am trained in Kathak and Bharatnatyam and picking up years from where I left is not a cakewalk. My last award was when I was doing my post graduation in Yoga. Then life happened... marriage, household, kids and Covid. Finally got an opportunity to show my skills and yay...it feels stupendous! It wasn't simple! There were 23 dancing moms and they all were great! My best mother's Day gift to myself....the proud look of my kids' faces when my name was announced! In 2018, when my elder one was in KG, I had performed synchronised Yoga and was crowned the Mother of the School. There is no bigger flex than securing the top position! Do you agree?
