Farq hai… Sometimes it really hits… how a wife at her in-laws house and a husband at his in-laws house are treated so differently. Because yes “farq hai”. Even today, in so many Indian households, our “parampara & sanskaar” silently favour only one side. Festivals are meant to be “family celebrations”… but in reality, they’re often designed around making the men feel respected, pampered, and celebrated while women are the ones who wake up earlier, cook more, dress perfect, smile more even when they’re exhausted inside. Society proudly calls it pratha, but most of these traditions are built on the comfort of men and the sacrifice of women. A woman at her in-laws is expected to be “sanskari, adjusting, respectful”… while a man at his in-laws is treated like a guest, respected, fed, pampered not questioned, not corrected. It’s 2025. But somewhere, the rules still feel 1925. Tell me honestly ..is it still pratha or patriarchy? #reelitfeelit #marriage #reelkarofeelkaro #husbandandwife #festivalsofindia #patriarchy ##sadreality #réel #festive [Viral reels, trending videos, marriage reality, male dominating society, patriarchy, equal partnership, in laws house, traditions, culture]
