A comforting bowl of samak rice kheer  simple, soulful, and perfect for fasting days I made this as part of a cookware reel shoot… but the aroma and flavour stole the spotlight! 😍 Watch till the end  the spoon scene is pure love 🍚 Save it for your next vrat day, and tag your foodie buddy too ❣️❣️ ✨ Ingredients: ½ cup Samak rice (Barnyard millet) 1 litre full-fat milk 4–5 tbsp sugar (or as per taste) 3–4 crushed cardamom pods (elaichi) Am using this @spicedropindia cardamom extract  Few threads of @baby.saffron soaked in milk  Chopped dry fruits for garnish 👩‍🍳 Method Wash the samak rice 2–3 times and soak it for 15–20 minutes.
