As Kolkatafoodie turns 11 today, I wanted to share a few things I’ve never shared before. The cons of being a content creator in today’s time & how it had affected me mentally. How chasing a better social media life had made me anxious & insecure for a brief period of time. I got caught up in what others thought about me rather than focusing on myself. That feeling where you want to go to each and every event or take up every possible collaboration that comes your way. The constant FOMO (fear of missing out) was suffocating. But thankfully life gave me full reality check very quickly & I snapped out of it! It’s been a journey to break free from that toxic mindset, but I’m finally focusing on what truly matters: my happiness. To anyone feeling the same, remember: just do what makes you happy! Dont do it for the ‘gram’! Mute people if you have to! Unfollow people if you have to! Don’t chase numbers, chase growth! Follow people who make you work hard, motivate you & who’s content makes you feel good & inspired 💖 #kolkatafoodie
