What do you think? ✅ I usually don't recommend any place to plan your travel because everyone has different tastes and each place is wonderful in its own way, but I'm biased towards Rishikesh as the Real Weekend Gateway specially for the people from North and West India as we can reach hare in almost 16-18 hrs journey and its quite inexpensive. This lovely place is located on the banks of river Ganga and lined with foothills of the Himalayas. Though you are at just the foothills you will certainly feel the chills of it. I planned my trip by myself and it was not too complicated. I enjoyed every bit of my trip. Here are some things you must do in Rishikesh - 🚣🏻 Go for River Rafting: This was the highlight of my trip. it was second time I went for River Rafting and I choose 16 kms ride this time. Though it was a bit tiring but was so much fun that every single moment was worth it. 🛕Go to Neelkanth Mahadev : Rishikesh is considered as a pilgrimage and without visiting Neelkanth Mahadev Temple it's incomplete to travel Rishikesh. 🛐 Experience Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat : Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat is so Devine. The peace you will experience is unmatchable. you can also book an Aarti and do it by your hands with nominal fees on the spot. It's a perfect place for a weekend gateway to chill out and unwind under just 10K . if you have any suggestions for Rishikesh, drop 'em in the comments below 👇 [travelamore, Rishikesh, Neelkanth, Mahadev, ganga, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, Rishikesh things to do, river rafting, travel diaries, incredible India, Uttarakhand tourism, Himalayas]
