I used to take other people’s behaviour personally and believe that if I treated people with kindness, they’d return it. But life taught me otherwise. Now, I understand that how I show up is a reflection of me and how others show up is a reflection of them. What they project has more to do with what’s going on inside of them than it does with me and vice versa.
