As the Yamuna rises, the floodplains behind Sector 135 & Sector 150 are under water. Farmhouses, huts, and cattle shelters have been submerged, and low-lying villages like Momnathal, Jhupa, Kanigarh, Govindgarh, Asgarpur, and Dalelpur are also affected. Over 2,500 residents and their livestock have been evacuated by the administration and NDRF teams, many shifted to relief camps and tarpaulin shelters along Pushta Road. Bandh Road may still stand above the waters, but the reality in the floodplain below is stark.
