People often see the smiles, the travels, the collabs—and assume it’s all a dream life. But what social media doesn’t always show is the reality behind the scenes. In February, during a trip to Bali, I got hit with a high fever—and for the past two months, my health hasn’t been okay. This is my third fever episode now, with a prolonged cough that’s really taken a toll on me physically, emotionally and mentally. After rounds of tests—even before being admitted—we believe it could be some infection that completely messed with my system. So yes, while you see the beautiful moments online, know that we go through the lows too. In the middle of all this, my younger one’s birthday was on April 13th. Everything had been planned well in advance, and despite everything, we made it happen—thanks to my amazing family. My mom stayed with me in the hospital, and I tried to be part of the celebration through video calls. My mom in law & my sister in law has been my constant support to be with my kids, doing all their chores. My husband rushing here and there in hospital around doctors. Can’t type more as there is so much in my heart. I also want to take a moment to say thank you to those who genuinely noticed my absence and reached out—not for work or collabs, but just to check in on me and ask how I’m doing. Your kindness, love, and concern have meant the world. This post is just a little reminder that our lives aren’t perfect or a constant vacation.
