Day 3 in Hong Kong was all about Exploring Beyond the Usual! 🌊✨ One of the best things about traveling on our own is the freedom to explore hidden gems alongside the must-visit tourist spots. And in Hong Kong, Cheung Chau Island is one such treasure! 💙 Just a 30-40 minute Sun Ferry ride from Central, this charming island is where locals escape on weekends with their adorable pets! 🐾🚲 With no cars allowed, life here moves at a slower pace. People cycle through vibrant streets, relax by the shore, and soak in the laid-back island vibes. We spent the day chilling by the beach, taking a mini hike to the Kwun Yam Temple, and walking along the Mini Great Wall—a scenic trail with stunning coastal views. 🌊✨ This island is a food lover’s heaven—a fishing village-turned-tourist hotspot packed with delicious street food and seafood specialties. We had some amazing in giant fish balls, crispy temaki, creamy egg tarts, purple sweet potato buns, and refreshing boba teas! 🤤😍 As the sun dipped, we hopped on the ferry back to Hong Kong Central, enjoying a breathtaking golden-hour cruise. 🌅 Later, we took a ride on the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, soaking in the dazzling city lights. ✨🎡 And since Hong Kong is home to 70+ Michelin-starred restaurants, we had to try a couple of them!
